I’ve Joined the Microsoft for Start-ups Expert Network.  How I Used the Program, It’s Benefits, and How You Can Do The Same.

I’m excited to announce that I’ve joined the Microsoft for Startups Expert Network.

Founders often face challenges and need someone to talk to who’s been there before or to keep momentum going.

Now founders can connect with me in Founders Hub to tap into my technical, community, and marketing expertise to reach success faster.

What Is Microsoft for Start-ups?

Microsoft for Startups is a program designed to empower and support start-ups at every stage of their journey.

Launched by Microsoft, this initiative provides entrepreneurs with the tools, resources, and expertise needed to scale their solutions.

The program has a range of benefits, including access to Azure credits for cloud services, technical support, and co-selling opportunities that can help start-ups accelerate their growth.

Microsoft for Startups is not just about technology either; it’s a collaborative ecosystem where emerging businesses can connect with industry experts, mentors, and fellow founders to navigate challenges and seize opportunities.

How I Used the Program

Some of you reading this will know that I built a SaaS that integrates with X, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.

I migrated this to Azure and applied for access to Microsoft for Startups.

The program made it possible for me to get going with Azure and keep costs down to a minimum.  Very helpful in those firsts few months.

There are various tiers throughout the program.  You graduate between them at key stages in your startup’s development.

I was on the program for 3 years and reach level 3.  Level 3 grants you $25,000 in Azure credits for the year.

You are also given access to contacts directly at Microsoft, many technical benefits, and the opportunity to network and grow.

To move between each tier, you need to provide evidence of usage and certain activities throughout your startups’ development.

What Else is Available on Founders Hub?

An integral part of the Microsoft for Startups initiative is the Founders Hub.

This provides a collaborative ecosystem where founders can leverage technologies, cloud services, and mentorship to accelerate your ventures.

Whether you’re at the inception stage or scaling rapidly, the Founders Hub is your dedicated partner in navigating the complexities of the start-up landscape
