I’ve written a lot about APIs in earlier blog posts but have never explained for beginners what an API is.

A few weeks ago I was contacted by Ghergich and Co who produced this info-graphic for Salesforce and asked if I’d like to share it.

It includes three custom graphics and explains API technology to help businesses understand what an API does, why they’re important, and how your business can use them.
